For many years Bukowina Tatrzańska has been well known as a wonderful winter resort and a  magnificent place for spending a winter holiday. An unquestionable attraction of this place is stretching from its upper parts a beautiful panorama of Tatry Wysokie and Bielskie, in which a great massif of Lodowy (2628 meters) stands out in the foreground. Farther to East one can see a silhouette of Hawrań (2154 meters) with dark wall of Murań (1882 meters) in the background; foreshortened Tatry Zachodnie; and, to North, Podhale, Spisz and whole – inconspicuous from such distance – mountain range Gorce.

The area is covered with snow form the beginning of December to the end of March, yet in some winters to the final days of April. The average temperature of January is -5° C, while of February    -4° C. One third of days in the year in Bukowina Tatrzańska is windless, while the brightest months are February and March. Therefore it is not surprising that Bukowina Tatrzańska is so popular with skiers. We have perfectly prepared, illuminated, and – in case of lack of snow – artificially snowed ski runs.

In the village the traditions of Polish highlands folk customs are presented on numerous summer and winter parties.
